Abstract:
Listeria monocytogenes is a ubiquitous organism occurring in both terrestrial and aquatic habitats, isolated from various regions of the world and aquatic products. With the growing threat of Listeriosis, which is caused by this pathogen, research is increasing. Studies, especially those carried out in recent years on the incidence of L. monocytogenes in aquatic food products around the world, were summarized in this paper.
